Participants will receive approximately 12 hours of training.

About 1/4 of this clinic will be class room PowerPoint and video presentation and the rest will be out in the field training working with horses and riders.

Friday night- 2-3 hours (unmounted informational presentation to be hosted at Three North Bar & Grill

Saturday - approximately 6 hours

Sunday - about 4-5 hours.

My name is Terry Nowacki, I am a life long horseman. I became an equine educator because, after 63 continuous years of riding, competitive showing, or professional training, I have developed proven training and coaching methods to share. My horsemanship philosophy is based on understanding the horse. If you want a true partnership with your horse, you best start by understanding equine scent and sign communication and then build from there.

I am best known for my research, clinics and proving public demonstrations given across the US on Equine Scent Detection. I am the author of two books; The Air Scenting Horse and Equine Sign Language and Communication Journal. My diversified horsemanship experience is shown by the accomplishments that I have earned over the years. Some examples include AQHA Public Service Award, earner of major breed national points in a variety of events, minor breed national titles, Ranch Horse Versatility high point, campaigning a state champion/record holding race horse, vaquero horsemanship, certified in Equine Assisted Learning, MSAR training officer for 21 years, winner of state wide extreme obstacle competition and coaching a junior rider to a state championship title.  I own and operate an equine training center in Northern Minnesota.
